Bigger Meat Co. Opens Doors Just in Time for Illinois Deer Season

As Illinois deer season approaches, hunters are gearing up for the big day on October 1st. This year, there’s a new player in town for processing game: Bigger Meat Company.

Owned by Travis Bigger of Bigger Bucks Outfitters, this new venture is located on Highway 34, just east of Biggsville. The facility will be officially open for deer processing starting October 1st, perfectly timed for the influx of hunters eager to bring in their catch.

“For now, we’re going to focus solely on deer processing,” Bigger shared. “Anyone in the public can bring their deer in to get processed. Our grand opening is happening on September 28, so we’ll be up and running just in time for the start of the season.”

In addition to deer processing, Bigger Meat Co. has bigger plans on the horizon. After completing the necessary inspections, the facility will expand to offer processing services for beef, pork, lamb, and other livestock.

This means the new business aims to become a hub for not just local hunters, but also farmers and residents in need of meat processing throughout the year.

The grand opening event for Bigger Meat Co. is set for Saturday, September 28th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the locker’s location. Visitors are encouraged to come check out the new facility, meet the team, and prepare for a busy deer season.
