Dr. Shawn Baker is a doctor, an athlete, a father, and a proponent of a carnivorous lifestyle. Dr. Baker graduated Bachelor Of Arts in Biology at the University Of Texas At Austin 1989, After that, in 2001, Baker also finished Doctor of Medicine (With Honors) at Texas Tech Health Science University in 2001. He then completed his five-year Orthopedic Surgical Residency at the University Of Texas in 2006.

He started the podcast by saying that we just so have gotten away of defining what’s healthy, and we need to have a new perspective towards carnivorous diet. He removed fruits and vegetables in his food and observed some positive changes on his body.

Too many carbohydrates most probably cause a lot of people that have a vitamin deficiency. Because of this, we’re creating a higher need for vitamins. He also debunked the misconception that too much protein could lead to more glucose in the body. He revealed that gluconeogenesis is demand-driven, so the body does not just make it. If it is adequately regulated, it will be beneficial for the body.

He also shared the data from a cancer study that revealed that rats who eat plant-based foods from human diets are still prone to cancer because of the pesticides. 

The issues are not about the eventual death of the animal but also the life of the animal. He also encouraged everyone not to mistreat the animals and not to do anything that might hurt them. For example, don’t let them stand on their waste and give them some fresh air and the ability to move.
