On Sunday, November 24, Kings Meats went above and beyond to spread holiday cheer. “This is about our amazing El Dorado County community that always steps up to help those in need,” said Casey King, owner of Kings Meats.

The turkey giveaway was made possible by the support of local residents, small businesses, and the El Dorado Community Foundation, as well as Kings Meats’ loyal customers.

For Kings Meats, the commitment to community service runs deep. Located at 787 Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs, the butcher shop is known for its high-quality in-house dry-aged beef, fresh-cut meats, sausages, and a variety of local products.

Partnership with FeedTahoe

To make this generous initiative a reality in South Lake Tahoe, Kings Meats partnered with The Marcella Foundation’s FeedTahoe program, which coordinated the logistics and distribution of the turkeys.
