Local Family Takes the Helm at Sanders Meat Market

BALLSTON SPA — After nearly 60 years in the meat industry, Tim Sanders has sold his beloved Sanders Meat Market to local couple Jim and Alison Gilcreast.

Located at the Carousel Village shopping plaza, the market has long been a favorite among locals for its high-quality meats and stellar customer service.

The Gilcreasts expressed their excitement on social media, stating, “We are thrilled to officially purchase Sanders Meat Market. Our team is dedicated to preserving its legacy while introducing new offerings and enhancing the shopping experience.”

While they plan to keep the market’s name, the Gilcreasts also took the opportunity to congratulate Sanders on his well-earned retirement.

Located at 2100 Doubleday Avenue, the shop will continue to serve Ballston Spa with the same attention to quality that customers have come to expect.
