Mike Tyson Debunks Raw Meat Rumors Ahead of Jake Paul Showdown

Mike Tyson is back in the ring, and the excitement is electrifying. But as the heavyweight legend gears up to take on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, rumors about his training diet have been swirling.

Fans were abuzz with speculation that Tyson, 58, was chowing down on raw meat to boost his power and primal energy. But Tyson himself has set the record straight.

No Raw Meat in Tyson’s Corner

In a recent interview, Tyson put an end to the raw meat rumors, with a candid and slightly humorous response: “I would never eat no damn raw meat. My wife eats raw meat, but I don’t eat raw meat. The Japanese stuff, sushi.”

This playful quip highlighted Tyson’s humorous side but also made it clear that he’s not relying on raw meat to prepare for his November 15 match against Paul at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium.

Tyson, however, admitted to making some diet changes. Reflecting on his past health issues, he shared, “I was doing too much bad food and stuff, and I got sick.”

To avoid a repeat of the health setbacks that postponed the original fight date, he’s cut out processed foods and committed to healthier choices.

A Clash of Power and Agility

As Tyson prepares to bring his trademark ferocity to the ring, Paul is also laying out his game plan. Known as “The Problem Child,” the younger fighter is clear-eyed about the challenge ahead. Tyson, after all, has a reputation for explosive power.

“To just box on the outside and then use my footwork to be more agile and get him chasing me,” Paul explained, describing his strategy to tire Tyson out before making his own move.

Paul, who’s training to weigh in around 220 pounds, knows he’ll be facing Tyson at about 235 pounds of sheer, knockout strength.

Although he’s 31 years younger, Paul has openly acknowledged his nerves, admitting, “The moments of insecurity, especially moving up to heavyweight where [Tyson] has the weight advantage and all of that. He’s insanely powerful and I know he’s taking it seriously.”

Anticipation Builds for the Big Night

The Tyson-Paul fight isn’t just about boxing; it’s about generations clashing, power meeting agility, and the classic underdog narrative. With each day, the tension builds, the energy rises, and fans gear up for what’s sure to be an unforgettable night.

For Tyson, it’s a shot at cementing his legacy yet again, while Paul faces a golden opportunity to prove his place in the boxing world. Both men, seasoned in their own ways, have something to prove, and neither intends to back down.

As the fight nears, fans can only imagine what will unfold in the ring. Tyson, in all his might, and Paul, with his tactical youth, promise a spectacle that’s as unpredictable as it is thrilling.
