North Little Rock Introduces New Entertainment District Around Hogg’s Meat Market in Park Hill
On September 23rd, North Little Rock City Council approved the city’s second entertainment district, surrounding Hogg’s Meat Market at 3901 JFK Blvd.
The newly created Park Hill Entertainment District allows patrons to enjoy alcoholic beverages purchased from Hogg’s in a designated outdoor area.
The district spans 1.5 acres on the west side of JFK Boulevard, across from the Lakehill Shopping Center. Hogg’s Meat Market, a family-run business established in 1963, relocated to this spot in March 2022.
Owner Peggy Hogg shared that the district has been in development for three years and could potentially expand in the future, bringing even more businesses into the mix.
Plans for the district include live music, Baggo, and a pickleball court, creating a lively, interactive atmosphere.
Some businesses across the boulevard have expressed interest in joining the district, though concerns about JFK Boulevard’s heavy traffic may require adjustments to ensure pedestrian safety.
This entertainment district marks a significant shift for the area, which lifted its nearly 50-year alcohol sales ban in 2013.
