Kingswood Capital Management Acquires Branding Iron Holdings

Kingswood Capital Management LLP, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has announced its acquisition of Branding Iron Holdings, a leading processor of branded and private-label value-added meats. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The acquisition encompasses Branding Iron’s three manufacturing plants located in Sauget, Illinois; Rochester, Minnesota; and Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.

With this move, Kingswood aims to enhance its portfolio in the food sector, which already includes companies like G Fuel and Patco Products, a developer of emulsifiers.

Leadership Transition Marks a New Chapter

As part of this strategic acquisition, Andy Touchette, currently serving as Branding Iron’s Chief Operating Officer, will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer.

This leadership change is expected to further strengthen the company’s operations and market presence.
