Krazy Juan Mexican Steak House Brings Bold Flavors to Bay City’s Uptown District

The Uptown district just got tastier with the arrival of Krazy Juan Mexican Steak House, now open at 110 Uptown Drive.

Stepping into the space formerly occupied by Costela Brazilian Steak House, Krazy Juan offers a unique twist on classic Mexican and steakhouse favorites.

A Menu That Excites

Krazy Juan isn’t just another eatery—it’s a flavorful journey. Highlights include the much-talked-about “Tacuterie Board” for sharing, hearty nachos, and an inventive drink menu featuring pineapple jalapeño margaritas and other tantalizing cocktails.

“Bay City, we’ve been so excited to bring this new restaurant to you,” the owners shared on social media. “We can’t wait for you to experience everything we’ve put together. See you soon!”

Legacy Meets Innovation

Krazy Juan occupies a space with a rich dining history. Costela Brazilian Steak House, which closed in August, was known for its tableside carvings of premium meats and Brazilian cocktails.

Krazy Juan continues the tradition of bold dining while carving its unique identity, blending vibrant Mexican flavors with hearty steakhouse fare.

When to Visit

The restaurant operates from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with extended hours until 11 p.m. on Fridays. On Saturdays, doors open at noon, offering a perfect weekend treat. Sundays, however, are reserved for rest.

Krazy Juan isn’t Uptown’s only exciting dining update. Nearby, Pita Way, a Mediterranean restaurant, is set to open its doors at 200 McKinley Ave. in early 2025, adding even more variety to the area’s culinary landscape.

With its bold flavors, warm atmosphere, and a menu crafted to delight, Krazy Juan Mexican Steak House promises to become a Bay City favorite. Swing by and savor the vibrant tastes that make this new addition truly stand out.
