Tyson Foods Rolls Out Elegant Frenched Pork Loin Roast for the Holidays

With the holiday season upon us, Tyson Foods has unveiled a show-stopping centerpiece for holiday tables: the Garlic Thyme and Rosemary Bone-in Frenched Pork Loin Roast.

Available at Kroger and select retailers nationwide, this new item aims to bring “affordable elegance with fool-proof preparation” for those looking to impress without breaking the bank.

A Fusion of Flavor and Simplicity

This bone-in, center-cut pork loin has been thoughtfully prepared for both visual appeal and culinary delight, with excess fat and cartilage removed to enhance tenderness and flavor.

Tyson’s Chef Will McCormick, Senior Manager of Culinary Innovation, notes that the inspiration for this pork roast came from “shared experiences like the family meal.”

According to McCormick, “nothing eats better with a fresh roasted cut of meat than garlic and thyme, right?” Tyson wanted a flavor profile that was familiar yet refined, making this roast a “total mouthwatering experience.”

The preparation process promises to keep the pork moist while infusing it with aromatic herbs. As the roast cooks, the herbs, garlic, and a touch of cracked black pepper create a “rich explosion of aromas” that enhances the dining experience.

Designed for Home Cooking

While this cut is lean, it’s forgiving, thanks to a thin fat cap that renders during cooking, maintaining moisture and flavor.

For best results, Chef McCormick recommends a “sweet spot” of 325°F, roasting the meat to an internal temperature of 140°F, allowing carryover heat to finish the job.

Grilling fans can also enjoy the roast’s versatility as McCormick notes it’s suited for year-round grilling, providing a simple yet satisfying option for summer and spring celebrations alike.

Budget-Friendly Elegance for Holiday Gatherings

With food prices soaring, Tyson’s Frenched Pork Loin Roast offers a high-end option at a reasonable price, available in packs of four for around $4.99 per pound.

This aligns with findings from the 2024 Power of Meat report, which identified price per pound and total package price as key factors in shoppers’ decisions.

According to Chef McCormick, “you’re able to get that same quality of eating experience” with Tyson’s pork roast as with pricier center-of-the-plate proteins, “but the actual cost value is a little bit more conscious.”

With flexibility to suit any occasion, Tyson’s pork roast not only delivers on quality but offers leftover potential for sandwiches, extending its value well beyond the holiday meal.
