Grace Meat + Three and Session Taco Unite for National Adoption Month

In honor of National Adoption Month, Grace Meat + Three and Session Taco are collaborating on a cause deeply personal to their owners. Rick Lewis, chef and owner of Grace Meat + Three, and Adam Tilford, co-owner of Session Taco, are both adoptive parents.

Their shared passion for adoption inspired a special initiative to support the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, a St. Louis nonprofit dedicated to helping foster children find permanent homes.

A Unique Culinary Creation for a Worthy Cause

The collaboration features a limited-edition fried bologna taco that combines the best of both establishments.

This culinary delight pairs Grace Meat + Three’s housemade fried bologna with Session Taco’s tortillas, topped with pimento cheese, rosa blanco sauce, lettuce, and tomatillo relish. A portion of proceeds from every taco sold will benefit the coalition.

The fundraiser runs through Nov. 22 at Session Taco locations and Nov. 30 at Grace Meat + Three in The Grove, with dine-in and online orders contributing to the initiative.

Rick Lewis expressed his gratitude, stating, “Adoption has profoundly impacted my life and family.

As we start the process a second time, it feels particularly meaningful to support the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. It’s an honor to give back in a way that’s close to our hearts and our community.”

Five Years of Commitment

This event marks Session Taco’s fifth year partnering with the coalition. Tilford noted, “While we usually do a giveback for National Adoption Month, this is the first time we’ve done a collaboration.

It’s fun to partner with another hospitality family who understands the joy that adoption can bring.”

Supporting Families and Community

Through this heartfelt partnership, both restaurants aim to raise awareness and funds for the coalition’s vital work.

Their efforts shine a light on the importance of fostering and adoption, illustrating the power of community-driven initiatives to create meaningful change.
