Iowa Meat Farms Continues Thanksgiving Tradition with Classic Turduckens

For over two decades, Iowa Meat Farms in Mission Gorge has been a reliable destination for Thanksgiving turduckens, offering handmade, fully-prepared options perfect for the holiday feast.

This year, they’re maintaining last year’s prices, a welcomed consistency for many loyal customers.

The turduckens are available in three sizes to suit gatherings of all sizes: the roll (breast meat only) for $125, a small version with wings and legs for $175, and a large option, also with wings and legs, priced at $195.

These options are designed to feed anywhere from 10 to 30 people, depending on the size chosen, ensuring every table can cater to its crowd.

Customers can reserve their turducken with a $25 deposit and are encouraged to order by Thursday, Nov. 21. Pickup dates are scheduled from Friday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 27, allowing flexibility for last-minute preparations.

For those unsure of how to tackle cooking this unique dish, detailed instructions are provided on Iowa Meat Farms’ website.
